Fevered dreams.. bugged or?
The description says it's supposed to spread conditions to all foes in the area when target foe recieves a new condition... I've been testing and i cant get it to spread anything at all. Has anyone else tried it out with positive results?

Fevered Dreams (Elite)
Elite Hex. For (Min: 4 - Max: 16) seconds, whenever target foe suffers from a new Condition, all nearby foes suffer from that Condition as well.
Read the description again, this is from the official site. It's nearby, not in the area.

It is bugged. 'Near by' is 20 ft from the target, IIRC. In the area is 26 ft.... So thats not it. It is actually broken, I and a number of other people have /bugged this, and I think A.Net is working on it for the next patch.

Yes, thx again for confirming. If you guys don't believe us, try it out yourself, I've had two enemies stand in the same spot and it still wouldn't work.

You have cast Fevered Dreams FIRST and THEN given them a condition have you?

I agree with the original poster...
there is something bugged or weird with this skill.
And Frits: yes, try it out yourself.

Not sure if it's been fixed since then, or wasn't actually broken-
I picked Dazed as the condition to spread, or more accurately, for my friend/assistant/partner to use for 3 reasons;
1) It has a flashy noticeable effect
2) Only 2 skills can inflict it, and both are single [target] effects
3) You can't inflict it on people without spells without spreading it through other means
As you can see in the pictures, as the only mesmer and lacking Epidemic, we got multiple enemies with Skull Crack, including warriors and rangers, through Fevered Dreams.
If you look off in the distance, there's a Charr Hunter fairly far away inflicted with Dazed as well.
Don't mind the inconsistency with my energy regen and lack of maintained enchantments in the second picture; Despite prior successes using Mending and Watchful Spirit to keep myself alive versus Charr, they killed me this time just as the screenshot went off, intermixed with lag. Being the photographer and healer at the same time is generally not a good idea.
Also tried with Virulence, Enfeeble, Pin Down, Plague Touch+Chillbains/Signet of Agony as well, every attempt worked.
[Edit; Clarified in brackets]

Dreams seems to be bugged like healing. -20% for no reason.

if u really want to test the skill out use it with some skill that will set them on fire like Immolate. if u see that there all on fire then u know it works if u dont then then some thing took the hex off or its buged.

Despite knowing this thread is rather old, and already having contributed, I'll say this:
The most annoying aspect regarding Fevered Dreams, in my opinion, is that it only triggers on NEW conditions, not reapplied ones.
You have to wait for a condition to run out completely each time if you want it to spread properly, which can be a tad annoying when you fail, and have to wait another 20 or so seconds to try again.
It also causes players unfamiliar with its functioning to think it's broken, as it won't transfer the conditions again after the first time, as they'll keep reapplying them too soon.
With most conditions, you'll only ever really get 1-2 applications spread.
In the end, I've had much more luck in PvE with Epidemic. Blindness + Epidemic = total shutdown of melee enemies properly aggroed, and I can keep my elite slot open.
